Practice the DV-2027 Electronic Diversity Visa Entry Form

A free training tool from Immigration Professional Association

The Diversity Visa (DV) lottery entry form can feel intimidating the first time you fill it out — one mistake, like a mismatched name or a missing family member, can lead to disqualification. This practice tool walks you through the same fields, order, and warnings used on the real Electronic Diversity Visa (eDV) entry system (Form DS-5501), including the passport and photo requirements and the new prospective visa fee step, without collecting or submitting any real information.

How this practice tool works: Everything you type stays in your browser only. Photo "uploads" are shown as a local preview and are never sent anywhere. The payment screen is a simulation — no card is charged and no card data leaves your device. When you finish, you'll see a mock confirmation screen so you know what the real one looks like.
